Our Mission

Cassia and all of our Cassia communities exist for one purpose: to foster fullness of life for older adults in the spirit of Christ's love.

But what exactly IS fullness of life? You might remember that Jesus said it first. In John 10:10 He says, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." This is the heart of Jesus, and it’s the heart we have for those we serve. Fullness of life looks different for every resident; it's about learning the story and the needs of every older adult, and then meeting those needs with excellence and compassion.

This is a very big goal. We aren't able to achieve this mission entirely on our own. As a nonprofit, we don't ever have an excess of funds to spare. Since the very beginning, donors have played a special role in making this mission possible, helping to meet needs big and small. Residents, family members and other caring community members find joy by investing in their Cassia communities, and helping to make fullness of life possible.
